Aloe Restoration Toner

Includes fabulous plant extracts Aloe and Cactus which truly benefit the skin (smells fresh too)

Helps to brighten skin, improves elasticity, soothe, hydrate.

I like to apply product to a cotton pad and gently swipe over face gently (once works fine for me.. Perhaps for those oilier types or less sensitive you could go for morning and night application)

I feel like the past few months I have neglected my eye area.. So have started on this Eye Cream by Tilth to help moisturise and rehydrate around my eye area.

Resurrect Eye Cream

I have always applied eye cream with my two middle fingers and gently pat (massage) around eye are following the bone. It wakens me, relaxes me and brings circulation to that part of my face. Now a little goes a long way. It is a mousse like texture and small enough to take anywhere you go. Morning and Night whatever you feel you need.

Anti Oxidant Foam Cleanser

I know typically foam/gel cleansers are best on normal to oily skin types and cream cleansers best for normal/dry skin.. But I have always loved foam/gel over cream cleansers (even with my dry skin). I love the feel and the outcome every time. So find what works with you and not what the brands dictate.

Great for people suffering environmental stress.. those travellers or season changes soon upon us. You can still have youthful and glowing skin by using this one. It contains interestingly Bark Extract which has skin lightening properties which enhances radiant skin. Yes!!

Simple to use, just apply to hands and rub together to activate foam, rinse with cold water.

Vanicream

I am really having fun trying out all these brands based out here since moving to the States.. This brand has come up lately in a few conversations.. People rave about them so I just had to give them all a go. I was so thrilled with the results and highly recommend to those looking for an affordable, gentle, delicate skincare range that works. The brand was originally created by two pharmacists in the early 70s. (Well respected and obviously stuck around in the competitive industry for a reason).

The brand covers.. Skin Moisturiser, Shave Cream, Sun Care, Hair Care, Skin Cleansers. My absolute favourites right now.. Read on!

RoBathol Bath Oil (Made by same brand)

16oz bottle $16.60 (also comes in 128 oz bottle for those addicted :)

Soothes and moisturises dry chapped skin in shower or bath. It is a cottonseed oil based bath oil.

Cleanses and helps with skin flexibility. Note not to be used on face (just body). Leaves skin feeling fresh and nourished for your day ahead. Such a treat.

Vaniply Ointment

2.5oz tube $7.50 (or larger size 13oz jar $16.95)

Works a charm on dry and dehydrated skin.. Also won awards for best products for those struggling with itchy, irritating Eczema. This is one of those all rounder products which are fab for all seasons too. So multipurpose. Great for winter when wanting to protect skin from wind and cold. Cracked hands/ feet use this!! Helps prevent chaffing if athletes among my readers.. Smoothing! Long Lasting! LOVE

VaniCream Cleansing Bar

Rich lather for daily use. Fragrance free too. It actually contains VaniCream Skin cream for that super moisturising feel. It is perfect for face and body (I love to travel with this one so I have all in just one bar)

Kinerase

This a new brand to me since moving to the States (current skincare love).

It is a luxury skincare range which leaves you with youthful looking skin.

There magic potions are filled with Kinetin which is a plant based antioxidant.

It helps to improve skin overall.. also helps to reduce redness, scars, wrinkles..

There is not a billion products to choose from from Kinerase (which I actually love from a brand), they focus on certain concerns and make sure the products really work and really help those using them.

Clear Skin Blemish Dissolver

I love me a good blemish control product. This is for those occasional ones that pop up and can be used all over the face and body (obviously avoiding eye area). This particular product is designed for ease. It is a roller pen so easy to apply and also so small and functional for trips away, days out just pop in your purse for on the go treatment. I personally love this on my nightstand and always try resolve my redness, pimples, breakouts at night.. overnight really heals with this product.

Okay.. for just $48.00 I think this next product is a steal. Anyone with obvious scarring will agree.

Kinerase Scar Treatment Therapy

Old or new scars, red and raised scars.. This product claims to reduce appearance of scar within just 4 weeks!!!  Serious scarring could take up to 8 weeks. I have yet to test this.. But am so hopeful and really believe in the brand so just cant wait to give this a try. I have a red and raised scar on my chest which I would love banished or at least a little more faint. Approx a year old so fairly new in scar times. 

I will track and blog and take photos for you guys and of course will keep you all posted. You will see pics From day 1, and every week over the next four weeks.. So look forward to seeing the treatment and scar reduce over time.. Im excited! Stay peeled.

Respected dermatologists, plastic surgeons all suggest and recommend this product. It is a non greasy silicone gel and only a little is needed. A post for the mums and dads out there..

This may very well be my first ever baby skincare review..  (first of many). I have recently been spending a bit more time around little ones and noticed some brands that really stood out from the pack. We are not the only ones lavishing in all these skincare products.. Newborns, babies, our cute little monsters also have a pick of the batch.

Babies skin can be super sensitive so it is extremely important to use trusted brands.. Word of mouth is my key to finding the best of the best for your bub..

Balmex Diaper Rash Cream

Diaper rash in uncomfortable for babies and if not looked after can lead to infection. What causes diaper rash is trapped moisture. Friction then begins to irritate the skin. Balmex Diaper rash Cream can reduce redness in just one diaper change and ease the pain for your little one. Contains Vitamin B5 and E to soothe and nourish, smells fresh too. It goes on nice and smooth and is just as easy to remove if you wish.

Babies skin is more vulnerable to the sun and irritants so the right skincare is essential. 'Gentle and mild' ingredients and products should be used so look out for these words when shopping.

Balmex Multi Purpose Healing Ointment

I have a small collection of Multi purpose Ointments that I use on myself.. and perhaps one of my all time favourite skin care essentials (can't live without!!). Its 'an all rounder'. I love the combination of ingredients that go in to these type of products and they heal, nourish and protect all face and body parts. So one for your baby this will truly be your saviour.

Vitamins A, D, chamomile.. helps chaffed skin (ouch), diaper rash, scrapes, burns, cuts.. the list goes on. It works a charm and babies love it! LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Face Atelier Ultra Foundation Zero Minus 
This whole range of foundation is a popular choice and best seller.. It contains no SPF as spf on your skin can be the reason for those white looking faces in photos. A little goes a long way! This is a Silicone based foundation which works to fill in lines and wrinkles to even out skin.

The Zero Minus is a white colour which can be used to custom make the perfect colour for you depending on your skin tone in the changing seasons.. This shade is also perfect for those extra paler skins. Also can be used under your colour for highlighting purposes.

Davines

Once upon a time... when I was still living and working in London I was lucky enough to assist a few different Makeup Artists on some Davines jobs for various commercials etc. I remember not knowing much about the brand and was so thrilled to be on those few days working either way.

Arriving to set I was in total awe of the Davines team and what they had created and prepping for the days ahead for the hair shoot.. I was excited and inspired and keen to learn more about this brand. This team was led by the wonderful and oh so talented Angelo Seminara (Art Director for the brand). This man is a creative genius and has teamed up with a wonderful brand!! 

I can't stress enough how amazing this brand is, the products are phenomenal and I have over the years fallen in LOVE with the brand and recently tried some products that are MUST HAVE items for everyone!!

NouNou Shampoo

Nourishing Illuminating Shampoo

Perfect for those with chemically/coloured treated hair. helping to restore health and shine to damaged and dry hair. Contains Chestnut Milk which deeply moisturises your locks. It has a thinner consistency then most shampoos I noticed but honestly a little goes a long way). I was so happy with this shampoo.. it helped detangle as well and had a pleasant and subtle scent.

Nou Nou Conditioner

Nourishing Illuminating Cream

Another product that works like a charm on color/chemically treated hair. Protecting colour and restoring body and health of hair. Contains Sweet Almond Butter which works to add softness as well as strengthen elasticity and strength of hair. Tomato extract is also included to help maintain vibrancy of your coloured hair. Feels like a mask.. I find I get the most out of it when I leave on my hair for at least 5 mins.. 10mins if you have it! LOVE LOVE LOVE.
