Hi DIANE!! I have oily skin. Because of this I avoid these type of products. Is Salicylic Acid good for my oily skin??

Now it is hard not knowing and seeing your skin.. But I do find generally that people with oily skin tend to avoid products that actually could benefit there skin though fear of worsening the oiliness. And actually you can be oily and also have dehydrated skin which means you still need to cleanse and moisturise to keep your skin balanced and healthy, though is just a matter of finding the right products that work for you and your skin.
The best exfoliating ingredient and used in many products for oily skin is in fact Salicylic Acid.. Reason for this is it helps to open up pore and neutralize bacteria which helps oily and Acne skin. I am unaware whether you have acne prone skin (some with oiliness do..) But Salicylic Acid also has anti inflammatory benefits and overtime can actually help reduce and fade past blemishes.
As it is a Hydrating Mist first.. I would 'assume' there is very little salicylic acid in this and would say give it a go. Unfortunately skin products and how they work with each individual is a trial and error process. I know Eminence would love to hear from you.. Perhaps they can also give you there recommendations on the product and there opinion also.
