There are so many wonderful products from this range.. The brand has grown in to a favourite of mine since turning freelance and has been around since 1989! Nuxe is extremely popular among fellow Makeup Artists and editors, celebs all carry round one product or another from the brand. This year Nuxe have also launched a mens range.. so boys get excited! Over the years many new products have been introduced to the range.. below I am going to chat through a couple and also spill my personal favourites.

Great for all skin types and sensitive skin too. Smells divine (like a citrus plant that mellows in to a sweet scent once settled in to skin). Soothing and refreshing feel! The concentrate is made with plant milks, contains hyaluronic acid, aloe vera sap... All goodness that your skin will thank you for.

Reve de Miel

Ultra Nourishing Lip Balm $19.00

So concentrated.. the type of lip balm you want to eat! Protects and soothes your pout. Contains honey, shea butter, plant oils, grapefruit essence! One of these little bad boys are sold every 28 seconds around the world!!!! Winter, summer.. works wonders all year rund.

Soothes dark circles with Blue Lotus Seeds. Smooths/reduces wrinkles.. 4 Nuxe patents make up this little gem! Use your middle finger to apply - it has the least amount of pressure which is nice and gentle for applying around eye area.

JACK BLACK

Jack Black is a Mens skincare range that was introduced to me on my arrival to America. I am super excited to get my hands on some new products and brands that I have never tried before. Firstly I loved the packaging and the bright blue stood out to me when I was wondering through Saks. They sell online as well as several other high end stores such as.. Sephora, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom to name a few. The brand is extremely popular with celebs over here in and the fitness crowd absolutely love the brand too. Jack black covers it all.. skin care, fragrance, sun care, hair, travel etc!

I have over the past couple of weeks been lucky enough to put them to the test on some men to see if they pass the test! So have put together for you guys my favourites and some that the men loved to!

Double-Duty Face Moisturizer SPF 20 with Blue Algae Extract & Sea Parsley $17-$48

Loved this! Lightweight face moisturiser with spf included! Non greasy! If for home go for size with pump.. and throw the smaller size in your gym bag or travel case. So convenient and quick for daily application! Protect your skin with this award winning face moisturiser. I found this had great hydration and great too for sensitive or red skin. The ingredients help to heal and refresh face over time. This was my fav and went straight in to my mens grooming kit!

Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 with Natural Mint & Shea Butter $7.50 

This is one of the brand Best Sellers and for a reason! Men look no further.. This lip balm is  perfect for guys on the run. so small can slide right in to your pocket, chuck one in your car. Lots of scents to choose from. Best bit it is kitted with spf 25 for that ultimate protection. Great for anyone enjoying sports ALL YEAR ROUND.  I'll be stealing this from the hubby too..  conditions and repairs lips.. Use daily to prevent sunburn, windburn etc!

Pit Boss® Antiperspirant & Deodorant Sensitive Skin Formula $16.00

My guinea pig (hubby Jon) loved this for the invisible easy glide on antiperspirant/deodorant! I loved this for it not staining all of his shirts!! Men give this a try next time you pass by the Jack Black stand.

Sleek Finish Texture Cream with Olive & Rosemary $17.00

This is another one for the kit.. Great for before blow drying. Controls frizz without leaving a heavy or greasy feel or look. Very light, only need a small amount for this to be beneficial. For men that dont need to much hold or perhaps like to layer products.. Leaves a healthy looking semi-gloss which comes from the natural oils used for this product.. olive Oil and jojoba Oil..

Cameron Diaz, Madonna, Demi Moore, Oprah are just some of the celebrities who love and use these products! The brand is British though sold and available worldwide. Soap and Glory have won awards for there skincare because the products truly work! The packaging and branding is so fun it catches your eye.. so take a look next time you see those pink bottles, fun text and quirky names!

For those of you with bath tubs.. I absolutely adore this 

'Calm One, Calm All Bubble Bath' $14.00 US

Smells like a dream and fills your tub to the rim with bubbles . There is a body lotion built in  so leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. Did I mention it smells like a dream? Through your stress and tension out the bathroom window for just a few minutes.

The brand is affordable too.

Gentle for your face (any face/suitable for all skin types), cleanses and refreshes your skin and removes stubborn makeup, dirt and oil without leaving your face feel dry like other cloths/wipes can. So convenient just throw these in your overnight bag and voila ready to go.  Got rid of my mascara too!!

Soap and Glory Heel Genius $15.00 US

This is like an overnight face mask for your feet! Slather on the Heel Genius and slip some cotton socks on and let soak overnight. Leaves your feet smooth and helps with any rough bits you may have /cuticles etc.. Once a week is enough for me.. But gentle enough to use every day.

Celeb Spotting Monday!

Some of my favourite Hair and Makeup looks from the gorgeous Beyonce.

The looks created for 'Why Don't you love me' video were so  fun and playful. 

This video took a modern take on the 40s/50s Hair and Makeup styles.. Victory Rolls etc..Heavy Liners, Red Lips. Costume/styling was absolutely stunning too..

I think this might be one of her covers.. Love the colours in her hair and the dark rimmed eyes.

Ombre tones, casual up-do. 

Love it when she wears her hair big.. Her eyes look great in a sultry eye. 

Beyonce looks absolutely stunning here in these braids and bright red lips.

New Beauty TEST TUBE

I am having so much fun discovering some really amazing beauty brands and stores stateside! There are endless amounts of new brands and products available in USA and select few make the cut here on my blog and I get so excited when I find those really special ones. Earlier this week I was invited to visit New Beauty at the Fred Segal Store in Santa Monica to make my very own Test Tube!! 

I HAD AN ABSOLUTE BALL.. The girls couldn't get me out :)

Before I spill what I chose for my beauty TestTube.. Let me just say if you havent been to New Beauty in Fred Segal! IT IS A MUST SEE! One of the best beauty stores I have ever visited.

I saw brands I new and loved!

But the most amazing thing about this store that makes it so unique and such a fun shopping experience is.. Not only were the staff so wonderful and informed! They have these amazing walls where they gather products from all different brands that they sell and help you shop for a specific concern! 

Yes you may go in for a particular product.. but why not see what else could potentially be right for you. Compare ingredients, prices. Most perfect place for gift shopping too! Lots of wonderful treats in here.

This is one example.. they have grouped products for anyone concerned with Ageing! So rather then limiting yourself to one brand.. here they introduce you to many brands so that you find the perfect product that will be best fit for you and your concern.

Again another brilliant wall.. Find the right Mascara! Compare your mascaras on offer to find the right one without running from counter to counter.. store to store! Just so clever.

As you all know.. I have landed in LA and from what I hear from the locals the weather has been abnormally hot for this time of year!! I'm just hoping it stays this beautiful all year round'. I am all for products with SPF in them ever since moving to LA. Admittedly in London I didn't use so many sun protective products, well not as much as I should have.. though living in LA it is an absolute necessity for your skin! Dermalogica have come out with two NEW products to give your skin that protection from the sun and enhance your beauty. 

Delivered on this very cute artist palette!

Sheer Tint is lovely and light and helps to reduce the appearance of Fine Lines and great for a smooth finish with not too much product on your skin, great day time foundation for a quick even out of the skin. Cover Tint is more of a Full Cover Foundation though leaves you with a gorgeous dewy finish.. There are just 3 shades in each and both great for all skin conditions.
