I have been waiting for just the right moment to do my first fragrance blog.. Here it is.. xx

Fragrance is personal.. I used to be someone who loved having a collection of different fragrances to choose from. I could select which scent would be best for particular occasions.. Day, night, work, fruity, strong, soft smells.. I now am happy to say I have converted to the bunch out there who love and adore one fragrance, which makes it your special signature scent! I suppose up until this point I haven't been able to find the perfect scent! I love the idea of someone remembering you by scent, that comforting feeling of familiar scent, sound, taste.. brings wonderful vivid memories.

There are so many fragrances out there to choose from these days.. and so many celebrities and brands bringing out different scents every month. In fact a friend once told me that well known singers/performers can make more money off perfume sales then there whole career spanning years in the limelight!!! Crazy. 

I wanted to introduce you all to my signature fragrance and the brand that converted me. 

ROBERT PIGUET

Robert Piguet was born in Switzerland. He moved to Paris and became a legendary icon in Haute Couture as a Fashion Designer who then went on to train names we know as Givenchy and Christian Dior. In 1933 he opened his own house.. years later came the gorgeous fragrances with character, seduction, luxury. Robert Piguet closed his house in 1951 and died in 1953. The fragrance and style lives on!

My Signature Scent.. 'Fracas'

Classic, Feminine and Modern notes collide with white floral fragrance. Seductive scent filled with Jasmine, Gardenia, Bulgarian Rose and Orange Flower. the base is made with Sandalwood and musk. Truly makes for an unforgettable impression.

Not cheap but utterly divine and worth every penny! Lots of options to choose from in your scent.. Solid Parfum, Lotion, Wash, Purse Spray. Elegant packaging too!

'Baghari'

This is a deep romantic scent filled with a wonderful aroma of Jasmine, Rose, Iris and fresh Citrus blended with powdery Amber and natural Vanilla. this scent captivates hearts!

'Visa'

Expect the exceptional.. Mysterious scent and a gorgeous combination of Peach, pear, Bergamot, Ylang, Rose and Orange Flower, Sandalwood and Vanilla Beans.

'Cravache'

Aromatic Infusion of citrus and woods.. Mandarin, lemon, sage, lavender.. ahhhh Invigorating ingredients!

The Hair Guru 'Philip Kingsley'
He has been a consultant since 1957, well respected!

This product was initially invented for Audrey Hepburn!! Oh my!! It is a real treat and depends on your hair type and hair condition for how often to use etc.. For me I could use this once a month or maybe twice for an extra boost and health kick for hair and scalp. My hair is uncoloured, curly, untreated and rarely use styling tools so is perfect for those with dry and under nourished hair... Audrey Hepburn needed this extra moisturising pre shampoo treaetment as she constantly coloured and styled her hair for all the films she starred in. It gave her bounce and shine and helped keep colour in for longer then expected. So if you regularly use hot hair styling tools.. irons, dryer etc and have coloured hair or hair is prone to sun damage dry or damaged you could definitely get some great benefits from this by using more regularly..

How to use..
Work in with fingertips on damp hair
Leave on for 20-30mins
Rinse off
Shampoo and Condition as usual
Easy!!

They use an array of wonderful plant oils within there products as these tend to offer great and unique benefits for our skin for example plumping, smoothing, toning as well as contributing the lovely scents. Since the beginning of there journey they have won several awards and from day one have always offered great customer service and package all the products beautifully for you the customer! It is an all round fantastic affordable luxury experience.

Razzle Dazzle Deborah Lippman Nail Varnish and 'Stripper'.. Already tried and tested both.. I love all glitter nail polishes and the remover although I wanst a fan of the shape of the mitt to remove the actual product was great removing all finger and toes of varnish even stubborn glitter polish!! Would buy and use both again! Deborah is one the worlds most sought after manicurist.. so her products of course are fabulous!

Cargo Serengeti Lipgloss great handbag size and  has gorgeous gold and pink flecks..

Another FULL size Nouveau Lashes Noir Mascara' another brand I have heard of but never tried any products.. cant wait to get this open to check out the brush and consistency of the mascara.. (I love that the expiry date is stamped on the packaging of this product.. more brands should do this!!!

Last but not least.. First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser removes makeup, dirt and grime with an antioxidant booster as you clean. Will have to do a brnad review as never tested any of FAB's products.. coming soon.

Jones and Payne Hairdressing

We all know how hard it is to find the right Hair Salon and the perfect Hairdresser for you.. I get asked almost everyday from clients where to go for a decent cut, colour etc.. Here's one to give a try.

I know Curtain Road in London's East End very well.. my gorgeous hubby used to work in a studio on this street for a good year or two..so if I ever had the day off I used to skip up that way for a lunch, dinner, drinks etc.  Happy to see there is now a Hair Salon on the street.. Jones and Payne is situated at number 73 Curtain Road and has brought with it a little bit of West End luxury and sits in the heart of Shoreditch in the East End.

Jones and Payne have quickly developed a fantastic reputation and have been nominated for several awards already within the first year open! Heading up the Jones and Payne Creative Team is Ricky Lee Jones.. I wonder who the other half of the name Payne is? Ricky learnt the trade off some super talented Hairdressers/Stylists Trevor Sorbie and Angelo Seminara (I am a huge fan of Angelo!)

Open every day! Looks fab inside.. Pop in say hello.. get your hair cut.. blow dry.. massage chair.. pamper!

Sometimes I prance around London checking out new ranges on offer from different brands.. or perhaps whats soon to hit the shelves.. Christmas Packs.. Spring Summer Collections.. I am lucky enough to see what is on its way.. So happy to share with you guys some pics of a recent event that was an enjoyable morning and have a peek in to a part of my life..

Model Co.. Quite happy actually this brand has hit the UK and has had a quite a good reaction. I was a fan of this range in Sydney growing up. They always had great tanning products and I just adored (cant remember the name of it now) but a ever so natural mascara that used to come in a pink tube! They have more products to hit the shelves after there famous fibre lash hit the shelves in boots around the UK..  

Loccitane has an adorable store in the Markets down at Covent Garden.. This stand of parfum and Eau de Toilette just looked a treat.. All sectioned out in it's different scents they have.. My fav at the moment being.. Verbena (The Hand Wash and Shower Gel are scrumptious!

Stila.. had some time away from the limelight.. now are back with a great range of eyeshadws, a fun and colourful primer and other goodies to embrace again.

Immortelle Range.. Love that flower grown in corsica.. The colour never fades.. this range is for older more mature skin to help with signs of ageing etc..

I think we have all heard of the famous Argan Oil.. Well Morrocan Oil have also available shampoo, conditioners  and various treatment products that are just lush for your hair.
